From downtown Jasper:

From downtown Jasper you will go east on Old 78 until you come to a 3-way stop. Turn right (there will be a Holcomb’s BP Service Station on your left).  This is Gardner’s Gin Road.  Stay on Gardner’s Gin Road until you cross Neal Akins Bridge and go up a small incline. There is sometimes a caution light or red light at the top of the incline. On your left will be Cordova High School.  Turn left and go between Cordova High School and the football field. Bankhead Middle School is behind Cordova High School and across from the baseball field.

From Highway 78:                                                                                   

Go east on the 78 Hwy until you come to a red-light with a BP service station on your left and a car lot and a 7/11 type convenience store on your right. Turn right at the red light. This road will dead-end. Turn left. Go to the 3-way stop and turn right. There will be a Holcomb’s BP Service Station on your left. This is Gardner’s Gin Road.  You will go several miles and cross Neal Akins Bridge and go up a small incline. There is sometimes a caution light or red light at the top of the incline.  Turn left and go between Cordova High School and the football field. Bankhead Middle School is behind Cordova High School and across from the baseball field.
